ITM, magic words for me. Not only because of my great colleagues, who are more of less like friends, but also because of:
• Great research
• Great pipeline
• Great products
Therefore…I am ITM

Prof. Winfried Petry

TUM Emeritus of Excellence

Some 20 years ago the Neutron Research Source Heinz Maier-Leibnitz (FRM II) produced its first neutrons. To enable transfers to industrial and medical applications, the Industrial Application Center (IAZ) was erected and ITM produced innovative radioisotopes for cancer therapy here for the first time. Today, ITM is a world leader in radiopharmacy and I am proud of having paved a small cobblestone on the way to 20 years ITM, what a success!

Anji Knöppel

Corporate Communications Manager, Corporate Congress & Event Manager, ITM

I am ITM

I remember my first congresses where everyone came together, even C-level were there, helping out. It was a powerful reminder that at ITM, no one is too important to pitch in. Today still, there is a spirit of camaraderie when the team comes together at the larger congresses. Whenever issues arise – everyone join forces to find a solution. These experiences have taught me the true spirit of ITM – perseverance, teamwork.

Prof. Dr. Roger Schibli

Head of Center for Radiopharmaceutical Sciences ETHZ-PSI, Villigen-PSI / Schweiz

ITM’s consistent pipeline development is crucial for advancing radiopharmaceuticals and treating cancer patients. PSI will leverage its expertise and state-of-the-art research facilities to further strengthen ITM’s leading position in this.

ITM, the company in its journey of “PATIENTS FIRST”, has moved beyond “maybe” to “here it is”. And contributes immensely to patient care and disease management in its endeavor of healing the world with its solutions.

Prof. Dr. Cristina Müller

Research Group Leader at the Center for Radiopharmaceutical Sciences ETHZ-PSI, Villigen-PSI / Switzerland

The long-standing collaboration with ITM is of great importance to my research group. Together, we developed a novel PSMA radioligand that is currently being investigated in a Phase I clinical trial. It is particularly motivating to pursue common goals with ITM to hopefully develop new therapies that benefit cancer patients in future.

The covid pandemic led to our work becoming largely digitalized – MS Teams was rolled out in record time, and I’m impressed by what our IT department achieved! This flexibility has given me the perfect work-life balance.

Karl-Heinz Jansen

SYKAM Chromatography

We congratulate ITM on its impressive development over the last 20 years. From the initial joint Yttrium-90 experiments in 2005 in the wooden fume hoods of the old radiochemistry department, we quickly moved on to new synthesis processes for Lutetium-177. Increasing demand for advanced inert conveyor technology, larger columns and batches of separation materials catapulted us into the world of radiopharmacy. Our collaboration with ITM has always been exciting and productive, and today, ITM stands as not only our largest but also our most important customer.

Katja Gschaider

Senior Manager GxP Oversight / 3rd Party Management, ITM

I am ITM

It was fantastic to receive praise directly from the CEO for the team’s excellent work when we launched our first diagnostic agent on the market in Germany two years ago. Successes are celebrated together at ITM, while at the same time each individual employee is recognized and appreciated. That’s what sets ITM apart and I am really proud to be part of the ITM team. Together we can achieve a great deal.

Dr. Axel Pichlmaier

Technical Director of the FRM II,
Technical University of Munich

In some respects, ITM can be seen as a product of FRM II, although it has since matured and gained independence. We are delighted with the longstanding 20-year partnership between FRM II, which supplies neutrons for the production of radioisotopes, and ITM, the production company that has effectively utilized these radioisotopes for medical purposes. Ad multos annos!

Josh Mailman

NET patient and patient advocate, U.S.

Congratulations to ITM, on 20 years of providing radioisotopes to patients around the world. I was fortunate to receive my first three treatment doses from ITM in 2009/10 without any delay. I also marveled while in Ghana as ITM delivered the first Lutetium-177 in Africa outside of South Africa showing commitment to patients worldwide.
